About

A few days before Christmas 2014, I had fit at home and shortly afterwards I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Since then I have been overwhelmed and inspired by the wonderful support of my loving family and friends, staff and patients of the Coleridge Medical Centre.

I am now setting out to walk the Camino de Santiago, also known as The Way of St. James – a 500 mile, 5 week trek starting in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, France and finishing in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
I am writing a blog to document my experiences, and will be posting regular updates over the 5 week period, from when I fly out on 6th March to start the walk, until I finish – hopefully around 12th April with my family joining me for the final leg of my journey.
Hope you enjoy the read.
